At Seafood Ecosse we are committed to the provision of top-quality products and investment in the long-term sustainability of the seas. We understand that sustainability is a journey, and we are dedicated to providing a reliable source of supply for the future.

The Scottish Seafood Association (SSA) was formed in 2011 in response to a growing need for a national body to represent the whole of Scotland’s seafood processing and trading sectors.
Scotland has long held a global reputation for the quality and range of products the North Sea has to offer. SSA members are recognised as being among the worlds leading suppliers and processors of quality seafood products to regional, national, and global markets. We are proud to be a member to promote Scottish quality products.

Seafood Ecosse are heavily involved with the scallop fishing fleet and, as members, are ardent supporters of the work of the Scallop Sustainability Fund. We provide annual support to the science and management processes that are vital to the sustainability of the scallop fishery.

We are investors of the Mr Goodfish Campaign.
Mr.Goodfish is a campaign on the sustainable consumption of seafood products. The main objective of Mr Goodfish is to raise the awareness of both the entire fishing industry and consumers on this situation and to offer simple and positive solutions. If we all followed Mr.Goodfish’s advice and we could save 18 000 tons of threatened species. It’s only with a joint effort from the fish industry and the consumers that the economy of fishery will be saved, and we’ll be able to continue consuming sea products in the future.
